Drawer bases and backs are plywood, internal drawer sides are wood. External finish A balancing stain is applied by hand to even out the natural wood variations, this is followed by a mellow lacquer. A further fine hand sanding process is followed by 2 further coats of semi gloss mellow lacquer.
