Customer Service

Delivery Times

Delivery times will vary depending on the item you have purchased. Larger items such as furniture may take longer than the usual 48 hours to deliver.

Orders received on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays and orders received after 11am on weekdays, will be processed the next working day.

Once processed, orders usually take 48 hours to arrive at their destination. On many occasions they arrive within 24 hours. If you would like the tracking details of your delivery and they have not been sent to your email, please call us.

We do not deliver on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays.

When an item is out of stock we will attempt to source it from our suppliers and ship it to you within 7 days. We will endeavour to keep you informed of this process every step of the way.

Whilst we agree to use all reasonable effort to ensure that Delivery is made around the Delivery time advertised, you will acknowledge that actual Delivery is often via third party suppliers and carriers and can therefore be beyond our control.

Any times or dates stated on our website or confirmation emails regarding Delivery are estimates only. SIMA Limited will make all reasonable effort to deliver Products within the time specified, but does not accept liability for any failure to deliver within that time.

How is delivery calculated?

Unlike many retail websites where you are charged excessive retail prices to cover delivery charges which are supposedly 'free' at SIMA Wholesale you are simply charged a delivery fee based on the total weight of the items in your order.

UK Shipping Prices
Delivery times are estimated and most orders do arrive within 48 hours.

What about 'delivery included' items?
Certain items listed on our website have delivery included in the price. These items do not affect the total weight of your order and may, in some cases, be delivered separately to the rest of your order (usually due to special delivery requirements, for example fireworks).
How do I specify when I would like to receive my goods?
In order to make the delivery process more convenient for you, when you place an order with SIMA you are asked to specify a preferred date of delivery. That way you can avoid missing the delivery and your goods will arrive on your doorstep exactly when you want them to (occasionally deliveries are late or delayed due to the courier. These are situations out of our control and are very rare). Please note that missed deliveries will incur a charge of £10.

I live locally, can I collect my goods myself?
If you live locally to SIMA Wholesale trade & business warehouse then you can opt to collect your order directly from our warehouse (for details of our location and opening times please click here). Simply use the  menu on the check-out screen to change your delivery option to 'Pickup.' You will be asked to specify a date when you will be able to collect your goods during payment, then simply print and bring along your order confirmation (this will be emailed to you separately) as proof of purchase to our reception and collect your items.
Delivery Terms & Conditions
Delivery is not included (unless otherwise stated) in the advertised Product Prices and is applicable within mainland England, Wales and Scotland. Delivery to Republic of Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Channel Islands, the Scottish Isles and mainland Europe may be arranged subject to additional Delivery charges.

Extra Delivery charges to remote or outlying areas within the UK mainland may arise, in which case we will agree the charges with you as soon as possible, where applicable. More information on extra charges will appear clearly on the individual Product pages.

Incorrect personal details may lead to problems or delays in Delivery, so before placing your Order, please ensure that you have included the full address details, including accurate postcode of the Delivery address and your daytime contact telephone number and e-mail address so we can notify you in the event of a Delivery problem.

When the delivery arrives
To keep delivery costs to a minimum we would normally only send one delivery person to each delivery. For large items of furniture we do ask that someone would help our driver lift off these items and carry them into your home. If no one will be available on the day of delivery please inform our customer service team who will arrange for a second person to assist at an extra charge to yourselves.

Delivery will be deemed as successfully made once the Product has arrived at the address specified. Signature is required for proof of delivery from ourselves and for when carriers use this for their own confirmation. Products may not be left at the Delivery address unless  we have received the Recipient's permission. When using a third party suppliers they may also require signed confirmation of receipt. Goods will not be left if the Recipient has expressly requested Products not be delivered in their absence.

Products will be deemed your responsibility once they have been received by you, your agent or the intended Recipient. Any loss or damage to the Products shall then be at your own risk.

In case of Delivery to certain locations such as hospitals, airports, hotels, ships and other business premises, the signature of any person authorised to accept Delivery on behalf of the organisation shall be accepted as proof of Delivery.

Should Delivery be refused at the Delivery address, and re-requested for another date, we may charge for the second Delivery, since we met our Delivery obligations with the initial Delivery attempt.

It is the Recipients responsibility to sign for the correct number of packages as shown on the carrier's Delivery consignment note. Shortages must be noted on the consignment note where possible. You should notify us of the shortages within 3 days of Delivery.

If boxes look damaged on Delivery we recommend the contents are inspected before accepting and signing the Delivery note.
